Descent was founded and is run by actor Stephanie Lodge, writer Keziah Warner and director Faye Merralls.
Faye Merralls | Artistic Director
Faye oversees all aspects of the company with particular focus on the directors we choose for each piece.
Outside of Descent she is studying for an MA in Shakespeare Studies at King’s College London and the Globe Theatre and works freelance as a director.

Steph Lodge | Producer
Steph deals with the production side of the company including liaising with venues, fundraising and casting for the shows.
She has a BA (Hons) in Acting from Italia Conti Academy and recently completed a course in Chekhov at the Stella Adler Studio in New York City and works freelance as an actor and producer.

Keziah Warner | Literary Manager
Keziah handles all script submissions and selection, as well as corresponding with the writers during rehearsals and post-performance.
Keziah works freelance as a producer and script reader and until recently Keziah worked as Literary and Programming Assistant at The Last Refuge. She is also a playwright and her new full length play Scandinavia is currently under development.

Martin Leonard | Resident Director
Martin brings his directing talent to Descent, choosing a range of pieces to showcase his skills – a firm favourite amongst our regulars.
Martin works freelance as a director and is also a co-producer with Silent Opera.
