Special mention to Southwark Playhouse this week as Wednesday sees the opening of the final show in their current venue. As of January they’re moving to a warehouse in Southwark, which means more seating capacity for the main house and studio, rehearsal space and a café/bar – very exciting! Go see Feathers in the Snow in honour of this momentous move.

Spread the Word present a panel discussion about what new writing means today and how it is treated by theatres, chaired by playwright Fin Kennedy. The panel includes Christopher Campbell (Royal Court), Sarah Dickenson (Soho Theatre) and Will Mortimer (Hampstead Theatre). More info
