I can’t believe it’s been almost two weeks since we took part in Theatre Uncut at The Last Refuge. If you weren’t able to make it down you missed a right treat!

The plays were fantastic and it was a real testament to the talents of the lovely actors and directors who took part that they were able to produce such wonderful performances with only an hour’s rehearsal on the day.

The day itself was pretty manic, with six back-to-back rehearsals, setting up the performance space, lightning-speed tech run and then doors opening, but we managed to catch a few quick snaps of the readings and thought I’d share them with you now…

And finally just a quick couple of plugs: firstly The Last Refuge for very kindly letting us use their lovely bar space for the readings – if you haven’t checked out this wonderful new fringe venue yet then hop to it! Secondly, Theatre Uncut – such a fantastic organisation without which these plays would not have been written let alone made available worldwide. They are a very small, independent company so please follow and support them. Can’t wait for next year.
